I was wondering why some people stopped blogging on steemit. Some said they stopped because they didn't get enough attention on steemit, some said they were not earning as much as the time they put in writing, others said the politics(meaning you have to know someone big before you could earn atleast and not necessarily about quality write ups) on steemit is just too much so they left.
But my question goes like this; are there people who continued on steemit who did not know people before starting steemit and are doing well? Also are there people who wrote quality content and did not get anything on their post and finally are doing well? Finally, are there people who became the big people by themselves? The answer to the questions I have asked is YES.
Most of us leave a legit system just because we are not getting money from it at that time but don't look at what you stand to gain when you continue in six months time and I begin to wonder. Most of us are guilty of this. We want to go to the system that is paying sharp sharp(meaning fast) and forgetting if the system is sustainable compared to where you are coming from. I remember a reply from a steemian I respect and it goes like this:
Be the change you want to see in the world
I saw this and I said to myself that if everyone was going to think like this, we are all going to move forward.
How about you investing in steem and becoming a whale or trying to know people by socializing on the platform. How about studying steemit and studying people who have made it from steemit. It sounds stressful but truth be told the journey to success is not an easy road.
Finally before I drop my pen.. I will like to say before you can succeed in something, you have to believe in it and be determined within yourself that you aren't stopping until you have succeeded.
You could go over to and
blog to get some motivation.. Peace !!
