Let me start with this
The today you live in is a product of your choices you made yesterday.
I marvels me to see the youth of our community their lives without purpose and destiny consciousness. They live recklessly undermining the outcome of their decisions.
When I was a kid, I had so many friends. I could remember running round the school playing " catcha" king, game box etc. I also remember when I was in primary 1 I will go to a compound with my friends to pluck guava. The leader of the group was a very dull student who reported that class called Peter. When the owner of the guava comes around, we will run over the fence with the guava we already plucked.
Sometimes I would miss lessons or sneak into the class when lectures was to end. I remember my secondary school where I will go to a game house to play PlayStation. Sometimes I will go to assembly late or home late if I go after classes.
You know what? All these experiences made me who I am today. But if there was anything I learnt one time was this
I said to my myself, I make decisions which can influence my life in the long run because of my friends. Then I thought, how long will these people remain with me. Then I replied to my self for a little while.
If we allow the people and friends influence our making right decision we should remember they won't be with use for ever.
Take a statistics of your primary school pals, how many of them are still in touch and very close to you? I bet it won't be up to five percent. But there were times we took decisions that were wrong because of them. If those decisions were costly mistakes they are no longer to suffer the penalties for our actions.
What am I driving at
You got your future ahead of you. I have a life and purpose here on earth. Why not spend time investing on yourself and your purpose. I believe God had a golden plan for everybody but it's dependent on us following his leading to fulfill our purpose here on earth.
So of us are good at writing but where are your writings.
Some others are born singers but they have never taken out time to compose a song.
Poet ain't left out. Models, dancers, actors and actresses, sales guru, business tycoons and many others which cannot be over emphasized.
Tell yourself today, what have I done to improve myself. What impact have I made to my community? What challenge can I tackle and bring solutions to it.
I tell you, you are more than what you see in the outside. If you look inside of yourself you will be amazed with what you can within you.
Don't think impossibility , don't think failure because the only person who can stop you is you.
before you can do anything to your community, you have to change your life first so that when you speak people will listen to you
