Ever since I decided to delve into entrepreneurship, I have come to understand a basic idea common among many. Everyone wants a shortcut. Call it a quick way out if you prefer but that is the truth. People want to be millionaires the minute they enter into a venture. To my understanding and experience, the process is far sweeter than the end game. Have you ever asked yourself what would happen if you were to achieve all your goals overnight and I mean this literally? The joy accompanied with the hustle makes the journey worthwhile. I am beginning to love it when people cancel on me. It makes me more vigilant in my next attempt with others.
I used to wonder how come people like Warren Buffet could amass so much in a single lifetime whereas some others find it difficult to change their attire. The answer has always been clear and with all of us. We are lazy by nature and if we continue to tolerate the laziness residing within, we turn out alone, destitute and envious of those who stepped-up. I want to be in bed with my wife naked all day watching Netflix and ordering room service all day but for me to get that, I need to step-up and be consistent with what I do.
