You cannot be reactive and live rich. You can set out to make money and focus on change rather than growth, but if you don't take charge, neither shift in attitude will make one bit of difference in your life.
If you don't become proactive, everything you've done up to this point will be no more than an intellectual exercise, something interesting you can discuss over cocktails at your niece's wedding reception. For these changes in attitude and approach to make any difference, you must initiate rather than respond to situations.
It's easy to go through life being reactive. And if you're smart, lucky, and react well, you can actually do okay. But you won't be a winner. This is one instance where life really does mirror sports. TBC
