Has steemit become my second job?
Since I've started blogging on steemit I haven't had much time for anything else. I wake up 90 minutes earlier each day just to respond to and leave some comments of my own. I go to work having had started work already on steemit. Thanks to I wake up every morning with a decisive plan of action.
As I am writing this blog it is 5:45 am. I have to go get ready for work in 15 minutes. I've been up since 5 am today just to get online and get some work done on steemit.
So to answer the above question, yes; steemit has become my second job. Source:Pixabay.com
I spend hours on end on it every day posting, upvoting, commenting, giving tips I've learnt so far, learning more about steemit and everything it involves. Someone could look at me or read this post and conclude that I am obsessed… Of course I'm obsessed. Obsession is a prerequisite for success
Obsession a prerequisite for success
Every invention that exists today took years and relentless pursuit to bring it into formation. People who have been instrumental in changing the world have been fighting, scratching and biting for years in relentless pursuit of their goals.Source:Pixabay.com
Software and internet billionaires slaved for months on ends, even years in front of their computers working towards that breakthrough. Relentless pursuit of their goals…They were all obsessed because they understood what was at stake; they knew very well that if they had taken their foot even slightly off the accelerator they were going to fail.
OBSESSION IS A PREREQUISITE FOR SUCCESS.
Facing reality
Don't get me wrong. I know I'm no Bill Gates. I'm no Mark Zuckerbeg, no Mark Cuban, no Steve Jobs, and no Elon Musk. No none of those people. But that doesn't mean I can't have their work ethic, their drive, their determination, their attitudes and their passion for their work!
I might not have their intelligence but I can develop their work ethic. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. I work really hard and I can destroy anything that stands in my way.
I might not become a millionaire on steemit but the habits I'm forming on this platform, the lessons I'm learning, the skills I'm developing, the friendships I am making, the attitudes I am absorbing, the relentlessness I am mastering; these are the traits that will lead me to my millions.
