A lot of you must have heard the term "think it and you will have it" This term was made extremely popular because of a book called 'The Secret' written by Rhonda Byrne If you haven't heard about it, a simple google search will give you millions of results.

Popular Misconception
Ever since this book was released and gained worldwide popularity, people have often thought that by simply thinking something, it will automatically be yours. It will end up being created into existence.
Yes and No
For any goal you set, for any dream, you have to think about it and want it to be yours. Something that makes you feel good just thinking about and imaginging that you've already got it. It's a great feeling.
However the basic fundamental that has been forgotten is to -
Take action towards your goal
I was very guilty of just thinking about things and hoping an imaginary fairy god mother would ascend from the skies and give me what I wanted. One man named TONY ROBBINS made me realise that we have to take action towards the goal and it will eventually manifest.
You want to buy your dream house? Make an action plan, map out the steps you will take to achieve it.
For example -
- Calculate how much you save.
- Get another job.
- Supplement your income.
- Talk with people who can help.
- Pay off your largest outgoings.
I'm not an expert but what I'm trying to say is to take SMALL steps in the direction you want to go. Sitting on your couch watching a football game and wondering why you aren't where you are won't change anything. If you're happy then great!
But if you're not happy then take those small steps and achieve your mini goals , that then turn into big goals and achievements.
One step at a time, that's all it takes. Work hard for 10/20 years and then live comfortably for the rest of your life.
