A very powerful thought that I am about to share with you today from a great British biologist, humanist, professor - Richard Dawkins. Here is a Diamond Thought of his:
βSurvival machines that can simulate the future are one jump ahead of survival machines who can only learn on the basis of overt trial and error. The trouble with overt trial is that it takes time and energy. The trouble with overt error is that it is often fatal. Simulation is both safer and faster."Β
The main idea behind his words is that in order for us to save our most valuable costs in life - time and energy, we have to simulate and learn from OTHERS who have already achieved our desired outcome. Makes sense? Who are you simulating or planning on simulating in upcoming time? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
One of his books I've read and suggest reading is called The Selfish Gene (link to amazon in case you would like to purchase one).
Hope you got some VALUE out of this post!

Β Β Β Β So here was a Diamond Thought #3.
Stay tuned for more DT's coming up! Only here with @wild-forest.
What is a Diamond Thought? It is a quote, idea or simply a thought taken from somewhere (like great achievers, movies etc.) that gives a lesson, a meaning, an answer for greater improvement in life.
