There are so many things that motive people. For some, it is money, popularity or perseved importantance. For others it is simply making a good difference in this world. There are so many possibilities! What is it that motivates you?
I think this is something each person should look into and figure out for themselves.
I find this topic very interesting right now with the election coming up. People blindly support this candidate or that, but few can tell me reasons their candidate will be good. All they can really do is point out why the other will be worse.
Is someone being "less evil" a valid reason to support them? I think that many of these people are motivated by not letting our country get any worse. That is a decent thing to allow to motivate you, but I would submit that letting the desire to create a better system than we have ever seen before motivate you, would be a better one.
Most of the problems that we see come from centralized control. Perhaps we could do away with government and use voluntary governance instead. I know it might be scary to try something new, but would you be willing to strive for something better, with me?
In order to create something better, we must have vision and be willing to try new things.
