Morning steemers! So it's no secret that i have some serious love for this dude. He was at the peak of his game, he was slaying it and making seasoned pros look slow... then bang... it was all taken away from him at Anaheim 2.
The crash was so bad that he almost lost his arm... That is something I'm not sure many people would be able to handle, deal with and throw a leg over a bike again, certainly not in a supercross capacity!
Today we have two videos for you guys. The first one where Ken is asked about the crash itself, the recovery and also what he has had to change to adapt and be able to ride at this level again. Make no mistake, he is not going to be the same rider he was before... His arm will not be the same, nor will his wrist. That being said do i think he can come back and win things, yes i do. His determination and mindset is very strong and there was a reason he was a champion before, these things only happen to the strongest of wills.
The second video we see Ken preparing for the upcoming season opener in Anaheim... This will be the real test. Not only is it his return but it is also the scene of the crash, albeit Anaheim 1 vs 2.
Sit back, grab a coffee and enjoy steemers :)
