Arminas Jasikonis has finally broken the silence and has announced his new path in the 2018 FIM Motocross World Championship. There has been a lot of speculation about his plans but his contract kept him from making the plans public until the new year. So now he is free to announce that he has officially left Suzuki and joined Assomotor Honda.

"Finally, Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone [has] been waiting for an official announcement from me on which colour I'm gonna [sic] ride in the 2018 season… It's a red one! I'm pleased to announce that I'm gonna [sic] ride for Assomotor Honda. I'm very excited to work with these people and I'm thankful for [them] believing in me and giving this chance."
This is a huge deal for Assomotor Honda as Jasikonis reached his career highs during his time with Suzuki World MXGP and they will miss him greatly. He hit 3 podiums at the MXGP of Portugal and despite missing the final two rounds with a dislocated hip he still ranked thirteenth. Now he is injury free and ready to get into action who knows what 2018 will bring for him and the team.
Good times ahead steemers! :)
