For those of you who would like to experience a POV video riding through the mine- then this is the post.
I was amazed how many views and upvotes my post about this abandoned tin mine received. Thank you everyone who clicked.
I have managed to find a video and some extra photos of that trip. If you missed the story I wrote a few days ago, don't worry, the link is here..

I chose this section of video as it was the part that had the most bats flying around- which I thought was pretty cool!
This particular tunnel was one of the higher-level tunnels and was also the one that had the lowest ceiling. There were a couple of areas that I felt I needed to duck- a touch mounted on my helmet made me feel I was going to hit the top.
The photo above gives you an idea of how big the main tunnel that channeled through the mountain- probably around 10-12ft high.
Riding around outside as we exited different levels, we found numerous caves. I assume some of these caves were developed into mining tunnels.
Other tunnels had tied-up doors with empty wooden crates scattered around. We guessed they were probably old dynamite boxes.
The crates had Chinese symbols on so I don't know what they said. If you look closely on the doors below there is a giant red 'faded' Chinese symbol painted on the front. If anyone can translate that please comment below.
Even though the doors were loosely tied we only dared to walk in a few meters. There was a tight bend inside and loads of broken up crates. To be honest we felt like it was a scene out of the 'Walking Dead' and that was enough to leave lol.
Holes in the rock face could be spotted all round. I think these were for the sticks of dynamite to blow up the rocks. Please let me know if I'm wrong.
To clarify some of the interest on the LED light I used- this is the exact set up below. The cut off cable (+ and -) from the LED light were connected into a standard female barrel plug. The wires were shrink wrapped to the plug after being screwed in- this kept it somewhat water tight and clean from dirt. The 12V lithium ion battery came with a standard male barrel plug- and that was it.
The 2 other cables coming out of the battery are: 1x female barrel plug for recharging and 1x 5V USB port for charging phones, cameras or any other USB devices.
The battery itself can also be turned on and off but does not have any indicator to show remaining charge! There is 1 LED light which turns red when the battery is ON.
They are super cheap and can be found on eBay.
Thanks again for FOLLOWING and reading my posts :)
Hope you liked the video.
