Good evening.
All the way From Finland this bike. I bought it to help someone out, so no I am not keeping it.
It is a year 2008 bike, and having spoken to a biker for a month or more via messenger on facebook, I decided to help him out.
How? He wants to earn some extra money doing the thing he loves most, selling bikes, and asked me if I could supply him with some to make some money.
On this bike when I have it running OK this week, he stands to make between £1500 to £2000 possibly more, it is that nice.
Why am I not just selling it full price to someone else? We have been chatting as I say for a while, and he is stuck in a rut and a single parent, long story and not mine to tell so let us just say I want to help out the best way I can without handing over money.
I know already you want more pictures, so here you go, the other side. Front and side.
It has only 11000 miles on the clock, not bad for 12 years old, what do you think?
It arrived via courier today, with a box of new spares, always nice to get spares is it not?.
I fitted the new bars to the rd 50 to make it a touch more modern, ignore the clocks, they are going tomorrow.
Bit dark under there I know, but the storm clouds were moving in, what a weird storm it was too.
I put the bikes away before it landed, and we had another hour of 30c and sun, so played frizby and had some family fun, at one point we were all nearly crying with laughter as I was acting comedian.
Been a superb day all round, serviced the wife in the am, what a difference that makes to her outlook, superb, serviced a few bikes, and had a tonne of family fun.
Family movie time in a minute and some time off bikes for me.
That gent is paying for the sp525 tomorrow, so happy days, I went out on a limb and took a leap of blind faith and in the spirit of things he is standing by his side of the bargain, so it goes to show, there are some beautiful souls on this planet still.
Hope you are having a superb day too. Let me know in the comments below.
