Sometimes I know exactly where I am going. In that case it’s easy, pick a route and go.
More often I have an idea where I’d like to end up, and generally speaking a direction to go.
Once in a while I just follow the front wheel and see where it takes me.

We are still at Painted Rock. To me, it is intriguing enough to take two days. As you can see in the photo above, there are some glyphs away from the Sunup, but not very many.

That is definately a Phoenix or something like it. There would have been Condors around, maybe that is the large winged creature.

What are the meanings? I have no idea, and those that think they do are most likely wrong. Some things translate well to more modern times like a travel wheel and time markings. Some are just entirely unknown and rarely speculated on.
Sunup Wheel
This particular wheel captivates me. It's exactly pointed at the rising Solstice sun, and is prominent in that is alone.

I hope you have enjoyed a look at a mystery. Who were the people that made this art? What did it mean? Where did they go?
Everytime I go to Painted Rock I ask way more questions than I find answers. As it should be.
