Way back then. Well this one sticks in my mind well even though I would have only been 10 or 11 years old at the time. I randomly saw this footage the other day and it bought back memories. It was a heated battle at the front between Paul Morris and Tony Longhurst at Winton during the 1994, 2 litre super tourer season. These guys were actually BMW team mates as well. As Longhurst pulls up alongside he makes contact with Morris' front left wheel and breaks the steering arm which forces both cars off the track. Longhurst jumps out of his car (almost as it is still moving) and starts throwing hay makers at Morris before he is pulled away by an offficial.
If I remember correctly I am fairly certain that Longhurst actually went and aplogised to Morris after he saw the replay and probably felt like a bit of a drop kick. Anyway see the footage for yourself.
