This picture is from Feb 2019. In an area where temps can soar into the 100's, the diversity we experience throughout the seasons is incredible. Those mountains are often snow-capped, but not usually fully covered. The uppermost elevation is just under 10,000 ft. The picture was taken at 3,000 ft. elevation.
