Situation I - The Move
When I was 15, my Mom told me we need to move. The reason for that was a new men she has been together with for several years at that time (my parents divorced when I was like 7 or 8 years old). So I had the decision to make whether to stay with my Dad or my Mom. For some reasons I've decided to stay at my Mom. Had I chosen my father, l would have continued to see my friends, especially my best friends, as usual and with not much effort. We're talking about 100 kilometers instead of 100 meters. So for me it wasn't that easy to decide, but I had to decide.
Situation ll - The Acceptance
At first time it wasn't easy for me to find new friends, but I just wanted to see my old friends anyway, as often as possible without regard to losses. So without a mofa - without a car - without a driver licence - just with some pocket money for bus and train and of course my optimism (and sometimes my Mom, who drove me) I tried to travel to my hometown. That worked pretty fine at first but it became more and more difficult, especially as the interest gradually got lost. After a half year I've decided to quit this back and forth and accepted to get involved with new friends.
Situation Ill -The Possibilities
Now that I have a car, I could drive back to my old friends whenever I want.
But why and for what reason? ...
That may sounds a lil' bit egoistic, but I'm that kinda guy who looks forward not back. Besides, l didn't hear anything from them, too.
So what do you think about it? Have you made any experience like that, too? Then leave your story in the commentbox and share it with us.
By the way this picture is made by Experimentel one year ago (check out his profile, he has cool stuff to share with, you'll find him also in the likebox) and shows the car ride to my new home where I live for now. Ironically, at that day me and my friends travelled to my place of birth and also to the town where i grew up to see what has become of it. For me it was an opportunity to made peace with that.
