After long-awaited, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures finally re-released Despicable Me in the third series titled Despicable Me 3. Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, the animated film is produced by Illumination's Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and executive produced by Chris Renaud. That movie still tells the story of the continuation of the previous film Despicable Me 2. In the third series, Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who's grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the '80s, and proves to be Gru's most formidable nemesis to date. Gru and Lucy were fired from their work in the Anti-Villain League by their new boss after failing to capture Balthazar Bart, a former little star who is now mature and obsessed with his character to be a tough guy.
In the midst of this situation came a messenger of Dru, a man who claimed to be a long-separated brother of Gru. Dru reveals to Gru that their recently deceased father was a legendary supervillain, whose villainous activities are the real source of the family's wealth. Not immediately believe the news, he came to his mother to ask the truth. After hearing the true story, he came to see Dru who was his long-time twin brother.
