G'day humans of Steemit!
It's me, Ant, the anteater. I have been a little absent this past week. So I thought I'd give you an update during my morning commute... So sleepy...
Since coming back from our trip I've been very busy at work. As I mentioned before, I work in the film industry and as much fun as it can be, you also work a load of hours during crunch time and we are finishing a couple new trailers this week.
I wish I could share with you what I'm working on, but you know, but it's confidential information and there aren't many anteaters working in the industry so if word got out that an anteater shared it, I'm sure they wouldn't take long to put two and two together...
On that topic. So, when I say I work in the film industry, it's specifically in the VFX one (all that CGI stuff). So, everything I do is digital. Therefore, I want to share something that not many humans appreciate... I'm not sure if my job became my reason for this, but I'm a huge fan of those lower budget unconventional movies that many humans find painful to watch. Some people argue are actually good, some they can't stand, but there is something about them that I find deeply amusing. I believe they help me learn loads about human fantasies and desires.
I know I must sound like massive hipster, but come on... I'm an anteater, working in the film industry, living in Newtown that skateboards to work:
Can't beat that, right?
So now that I shared that uncommon taste for movies, I want to let you know that I will start recommending or reviewing those movies, not sure of the format, I may just talk about them in my general posts or create a separate section.
For now, let me talk about this movie I watched last week which I loved. If you are bored or all these superhero movies, with similar plots and over the top CGI (yes, they keep me busy at work too, but that's not the point)... Here comes something you won't see every day:
Spaghetti-Man
TRAILER
I believe this one is sort of an easier one to watch compared to my future recommendations. Be prepared for a new level of 'weird'. Ninjas from New Zealand, catholic surfers fighting sea monsters, big ass insects, etc...
Ahh. I'm fully awake now.
Hope everyone is having a good week and remember to eat all of your ants in the morning!
