Hello movie lovers today I'd like to talk about a movie which is one of the best example of psychopathy. Despite I watched this movie a lot I would like to revisit nightcrawler 2014 and just admire how good the character writing is. I especially loved the way that they portrayed psychopathy. The main guy (unlike many mainstream psychopaths) is not a blood thirsty maniac, but rather simply just frighteningly logical. He calculates ever single moves he makes, and makes sure that he is the one in control of situations. He only kills if he needs to, and just does whatever it takes to get what he wants, whether it be money or sex.
Another I loved about this film was the beginning, where it showed him struggling to get a job. After watching the film, it is quite clear that he can thrive in any job that he chooses, but he wouldn't have any fun and passion within those jobs. He wasn't struggling because he was desperate, but rather struggling because he was bored.
It is, in my opinion, the best representation of psychopathy in media.
