Ok, it is not an old movie, but retro! Not a movie, but series. And retro. Playing in 1983 in a small town somewhere in the USA. I was afraid to watch the first season probably because of the hype it generated, I did not like Prison Break or such movies, but this one was a surprise for sure. After the first some parts it started to get interesting. An I think the second one is a bit better with more action and character development. The upside-down is growing, infecting the whole town slowly, the kids are hallucinating and trying to close the gate. Simple is that. Oh, there are scenes when you think it is X-Men or some superhero movie. Ok, we belive in the other side and the kids are fighting against demo-dogs so this is a good link with psychic skills. Love, fear, blood, 9 episodes. I finished it in one night. Good music, good characters and action. A bit of ET and Ghostbusters. Let's go and check it on Netflix!
