In the first half of this year, the video game maker RoVier's earnings doubled more than ever before. Finnish mobile gaming and animation studio company said on Tuesday that this success has come as a result of 'The Angry Birds Movie'.
Reuters reported that the company's revenues grew from 7.85 billion euros to 15.26 billion euros over the same period last year.
After passing over some years of income loss, worker pruning and re-organizing organization, Rovio sees profit in 2016. That year, 3D movies were released in the Hollywood movie, which was part of the profits in the Rovio Pockets. As well as the sale of Angry Birds Game due to the movie came the tide of gain.
In the first half of this year, the company's income in the category of games rose 16 percent to 11.79 million euros. Among the poems released by Rovio are 'Angry Birds 2', 'Angry Birds Friends' and new multiplayer game 'Battle Bay'.
Currently, the company plans to bring the sequels of the Angry Birds movie with Columbia Pictures. This movie is about to be released in 2019.
According to Bloomberg's report on the unpublished source, it is said that Robio plans to leave the IPO this week. But the company has refused to comment on this, Reuters said.
