Northman was my most anticipated movie of 2022 and it didn't disappoint my expectations... i might be biased because this film seems to have been written and directed to fit the style of movie i but I liked it in this style! It wasn't really full of surprises, in fact quite predictable, but sometimes it's not about sending a message, or putting a new spin on an old story, sometimes it's about taking a classic revenge tale and elevating it as high as possible, Eggers continues to show me that he can create powerful images and get great performances out of his actors. My favorite action-adventure film of 2022 so far. I advice everyone who loves Viking movies to watch it because you'll not get disappointed.
