I agree with you liking the role of Kingpin. Even in the old Daredevil, he was my favorite character and the way D'Onoforio played it, then and now, is marvelous. This is also true for the Lex Luthor played by Michael Rosenbaum in Smallville.

It is also true, I wasn't tempted to watch Daredevil born again. Trailer wasn't attractive enough for me to disturb my memories of Daredevil - That taste I had in my memories. This was the reason I just watched it the last month when there was no other good option available. Again, I agree with you, this is one of the finest show ever. I haven't watched the second season yet though. Planning on watching it after completing the fourth season of Slow Horses and another show in my list.
