Did you ever have the feeling that someone is watching you? Maybe you felt that someone was messing with your stuff? Maybe you are just going crazy? This is how Cecilia Kass must have felt in the amazingly updated version of "The Invisible Man." Played very convincingly by Elisabeth Moss, her character ran away from an abusive relationship. After finding out about his (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) suicide, Cecilia begins to wonder if he faked his death or is she just going mad?
Elisabeth Moss is known for her stunning performances in "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Mad Men." Oliver Jackson-Cohen also wooed television series' fans with his work in "The Haunting Of Hill House" and "Emerald City." Aldis Hodge portrays a friend who offers his help but also begins to doubt her sanity after she scares his daughter. You may remember Hodge as MC Ren from "Straight Outta Compton." Cecilia's appears to also disrespect her own sister after she went out of her way to help her.
There are plenty of scares and even more thrills as the plot thickens. Leigh Whannell wrote and directed that rare thrill ride that was well-liked by audiences and critics alike. This film takes the premise of the 1933 classic and elevates it to come across as fresh and scary, while being very well-acted! You will definitely want to see this one, so I am not going to spoil any of the twists!
