Character Beric Dondarrion
Actor Richard Dorme
I think I've found another Odin and it's Beric Dondarrian a minor character that has lasted through many seasons in a TV show known for killing off favorite characters from the HBO series "Game Of Thrones." He is missing an eye, he has died 6 times and was brought back to life by his comrade a Red Priest in the light of the one true God, R`hllor, Thoros of Myr. An unfortunate side-effect of dying and being brought back to life through magic, poor Beric Dondarrian loses parts of himself, not only his body but who he is, parts of his memories, personality, identity. He is becoming something else. What that is, I do not know but I hope to find out next year when the last of the series plays out.
"Lord of Light! Come to us in our darkness. We offer you these false gods. Take them and cast your light upon us. For the night is dark and full of terrors." ―Melisandre prays to R'hllor
Look at that handsome face, so full of lines and character, this will be my next fanart painting and is also related to Odin, how odd! Actor Richard Dorme also plays a major part in a European drama I love called Fortitude. Another really bloody, full of death and gods television series. I see a pattern here, Gods, Shamans, Magic, Blood, and War, I thought I was a peaceful Buddhist.
"That's what we are: ghosts. Waiting for you in the dark. You can't see us, but we see you. No matter whose cloak you wear: Lannister, Stark, Baratheon, you prey on the weak, the Brotherhood Without Banners will hunt you down." ―Beric Dondarrion
Beric Dondarrion is the Lord of Blackhaven and the head of House Dondarrion, a vassal house to House Baratheon of Storm's End.
"We’re here for a reason. The Lord of Light is keeping Beric alive for a reason. He gave a failed drunk priest the power to bring him back for a reason. We are part of something larger than ourselves." ―Thoros to Sandor Clegane
