Even though Japanese animation is not my thing I can't deny the power of this animated movie from Japan telling the harrowing story of a boy and his sister trying to survive in the devastated war-torn Japan close to the end of WW2; and surely I'm not frustrated a bit. It's simple and very moving. I'll always remember the little girl's laugh. Poor children of war...
Verdict: see it even if you are suspicious of anime, it worth it.
