‘Good’ films are often preferred by the general populace, and that most arbitrary of barometers, Rotten Tomatoes, seems to have quite the say in the success of a newly-released film. If it’s got a good Tomatometer score, then it is immediately deemed excellent, and will attract a wider audience - the opposite occurs when it’s classified as ‘rotten’. It’s the way the world works - people believe things are good because a select few say they are, we just have to deal with it.
And so, to today’s movie du jour, Lady Bird, which currently has a flawless 100%. Rather impressive, I think you’ll agree. It’s currently had 170 reviews, and they’ve all been positive, making it the best-reviewed movie on the site, ever.
