The Prince of Darkness has returned to me. It surely wasn't a coincidence that he visited me during full moon, blood moon - to be precise...
Who am I kidding, my buddy and namesake Vincent aka , arrived in my area of Portugal, again, for the first time in 6 months.
We hung out plenty of times in The Netherlands, when I was staying there between late July and mid October, but Portugal is where we first met, in May 2021 and where we prefer to be.
Yesterday night, just after Vin's arrival, the blood moon made the (crypto)market bleed,
not moon.
One way or another, this guy knows how to make the market move and not just a little bit. The last time he left Portugal, the Luna Terra crash took place and - unfortunate for him - he had some serious money invested in this project.

Do you see the connection here?
All kidding aside, both Vincents like to crack jokes ( as you will find out when you read his blog - I suggest giving his latest write up Continuing a Way of Life - Riding the Waves of Life a read and leaving him a comment.
When we're not joking or talking about life, we're usually watching movies, often horror ( comedies ). And, to get back to the Prince of Darkness, this is the movie that we watched yesterday night.
I returned to it for the 3rd time, I guesstimate, set his eyes upon it for the first time.
As someone who used to be a huge horror fan ( a little less so, these days, as there's enough horror in the world: you only need to check the news ), I sure know my classics. One of my favorite horror directors was - and still is - John Carpenter. Prince of Darkness is one of his lesser known films but still pretty popular among his fans. It has kind of a cult status, like many John Carpenter flicks.
My J.C. favorites, in no particular order, are Halloween, The Thing, They Live, Big Trouble in Little China and Prince of Darkness. I also enjoy The Fog. Escape from New York is pretty legendary too.
I could make this a long story, I studied film after all and am a film snob, but it's about time to start watching another movie, because that is what the two Vincent's do, at night, when we're not out in the dark. howlin' at the moon.
Watching John Carpenter films together is almost a tradition by now, as we've seen The Thing, They Live, Big Trouble in Little China, Prince of Darkness and Halloween, in the dozen or so nights that we spent at my place. In other words, it's like a 50/50 chance that we end up watching a Carpenter movie, haha!

It's now time to go watch another (horror?) movie.
TO BE CONVINUED...
