If you haven't heard, is having a contest to review an
radio show. You can find his post and all relevant information here. Let's address the pertinent details before getting to the review:
- Full Force Radio hosted by
on 5/25/18 at 1:00 AM UTC
- I listened via mspwaves.com HQ audio stream while hanging out in the Discord chat.
- I liked everything about the show.
- I disliked that some people still have to be told that pants are not allowed.
- I listened to the show in it's entirety.
So now that I've covered those bases, let's get into the real point of this review. Hugs and melting faces. In a very fully forceful manner.
I know at first that can sound a little scary or like a lot to take in. Aggressive hugging and melting faces may not seem like it's for everyone at first glance, but haaaaave you met ? She's certainly the most adorable and lovable bringer of death that I have ever come across. Which brings me to the show itself. I know what you're thinking, there's more than aggressive hugs, melting faces, and an awesome host? Oh ya.
The show has it's own cult following at this point. I am pretty sure this is as close as you can get to going to a metal show without being there in person. There's a hug pit, which I'm not going to take all of the credit for or anything, but I may have helped make it a recurring thing. If you've never been in a server with so many hug commands running through the bot that the Discord API has a slight breakdown while heavy metal is being shoved through your ear holes, you might need to rethink your priorities in life. That's all I'm saying.
A brief glimpse of the hug pit.
Which is kind of a great way to say that the show isn't just about the music. It isn't just about the host or all the Crimmi giggles. It's about that bond that we all have and share while being present in the same (virtual) place and time and just experiencing it all together. The gifs fly, the memes are dank, the metal melts faces, the virtual hugs are aggressive, and combines it all into a hurricane of energy that can only be described as "Full Force Radio." If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly encourage you to let
put a little metal into your life. Just the tip. At full force.
