With the words: "You made a lady out of the Tin Lizzie", the legendary "Sea Devil" Felix Graf von Luckner complimented Henry Ford at the premiere of the Ford Model A.
This episode then resulted in the nickname "Henry’s Lady". In spite of the world economic crisis the Model A sold in large numbers. Between October 1927 and March 1932 more than 4.8 million units were produced by, Ford, thereof 22.000 in Berlin and 11.000 in Cologne.
