Don't you love wild mushrooms? So amazing to learn about what is abundant and all around us in the PNW (Pacific northwest). It is important to learn what they are before you pick. Some you may not even want to touch. But some varieties are easily identified and delicious. You have to know whay you are picking because some can kill. Some you might just want to take pictures and if you do learn what you can harvest you'd better know how in order to leave a small amount of stem back so they will come back next year.
