Hello, steemians, and welcome to my page, eh!
My friend Adam brought over a few more pieces of gear for me to look at recently. Some of it has minor problems, some not so minor.
The Peavey CS-800 has a dead short in one channel's output circuit. At least 1 output transistor is shorted out, and possibly more than one.
The QSC power amp needs a power switch, it's just hardwired on right now. That's probably the only thing wrong with it.
The Intersound IVP preamp unit may not have anything wrong with it, Adam just wanted me to check it out to make sure everything works on it. Apparently this preamp was pro gear back when it was built and was popular with some of the big name touring musicians.
I also have to finish building these 2 amplifiers.
I've written several posts about the little red and black amp, the other one is a project that I've been messing with for a good year now, intermittently. I tend to not do too much on these projects during the summer months, I'm usually busy with other things.
I'm also waiting for rebuild parts for a Fender Bassman 100 for my friend Adam, I don't have pictures of that amp yet.
I guess this is a bit of a short post, but it's all I have for today. I hope you at least found it interesting.
Thanks for stopping by my page and checking out my post, eh!
As always, feel free to leave a comment or a question if you would like.
May the Steem Force be with you!
