Moog Modular Synth. Post via Pastel Sonic, my new music production page on Instagram. If you need a beat, a mix, or help with songwriting or arrangement please leave a comment or hit me up on Instagram! I look forward to working with you.
Serum and Massive might rule the 2010s, but in the early days of the synthesizer, it took a whole room to make one melody line, and the Moog modular system was inevitably taking up most of the space in such a room. The Moog modular found its way onto records by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Monkees, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and Walter (now Wendy) Carlos’ “Switched-On Bach”. Once restricted to superstars and university music departments with outsized budgets, these days, a decent emulation of the whole thing will run on a laptop for around $200 thanks to
