So, playing the guitar for me isn't just a time passing game. It's a muse and a meditation for me. I'm not sure a day could pass without me touching my guitar and yell at the top of my voice, singing with the birds chirping at my window. My neighbors are used to it and I can say they probably enjoy it too, because they have never complained either. Mind you, I'm not so good at singing and writing songs😩. But I've been able to write couple of songs that one could write home about in the past few years.😁😊
I started writing songs at the age of nine, but you wouldn't want to listen to that, believe you me! 😂
My first completed song was titled "Wind Of Love" its a bilingual song; Yoruba and English language combined. I wrote it for my high school lover which later ended in tears😩💔😂. So, I apparently just gave up on love and diverted to satirical themes. I've written "Inverted Souls Anthem, No To Racism, Beautiful Day, Nothing For More, Smile, Away, Home, With Time." and so on to mention few😎.
Life is inevitable and not so fair, sometimes I try to express myself through poetry, prose, essays, and other forms of writing but it has never been enough.
So, I just woke up one day four years ago and started crying for a guitar, isn't that crazy?😂. I know, but I can't explain till date why I had such mad cravings for guitar so bad. However, my father bought me one three years ago and here is it in the video displayed. And I've learnt about B.B King, Eric Clapton and other jazz, blues guitarists. But these I mentioned are my muse for now. And this guitar is one of the best gifts I'll ever have from my father. If there's anything I enjoy doing most aside of drawing, painting, writing, taking pictures of nature, it's definitely playing guitar and singing. I practically do play guitar more often than I sing. It fulfills me and gives me the unlimited chance to express myself anyway, anyhow, anywhere and people enjoy it, even if, sometimes they do not understand what my lyrics are😂, but my melody is true. I suppose.
