This really cheers me up! Here's a song I just came across that my son and I made. I thought it would be fun to post it along with song he made recently as a teenager.
We were messing around with Garage Band when he was about 4. This just seems like a lifetime ago. Who even AM I right now? The image I chose for the cover is from a day when he was maybe 9, when we spent like an hour trying to take pictures that made us look like we were flying. In matching outfits. Because I just do things like this. l actually made it into a music video....and it RULES and i will post it tomorrow....the song is not mine though so I don't know if Youtube will let me? Would Dtube care as long as I give credit? OK listen to this song if you like cute little voices. Listen to the one below if you just like electronic music.
Compare that to the music he makes right now (and yes he has joined Steemit but he has not set up his profile yet). He spends hours and hours on his computer writing electronic music now. Last summer he bought a super nice synth with his first job. Takes after my own heart! I love this song its very pop-dance-upbeat-happy to me.
And here we are at his very first concert about three years ago (Linsey Stirling, of course) hiding under a blanket because it was raining . That concert was super fun for him but I spent most of the time in a livid-annoyed state. The outdoor venue wasn't very good. The ground was totally flat so only people in the front or extreme tall people with jabby elbows in my face could see. The rest of us saw Linsey pop through the little cracks between peoples heads for a millisecond here and there while being shoved around by people smoking huge bowls and spilling beer. My son loved it though and did not notice all the annoyances like i did haha. I am just a GRUMP!!! :) My hair was longer then and not fake purple red . AKA I was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GRUMP THAN I AM NOW.
Hope everyone is doing well!
