Keyboards were made at some points to serve a multipurpose function. People do ask... whats the difference between the piano and the keyboard? ??
The piano usually has only one classical sound but the keyboards usually have sounds of various musical instruments.
The piano and the keyboard alike do have black and white Keys. The keys have their individual names based on the twelve keys in music.
These keys are C ,C#,D,D#,E,F,F#,G,G#,A,A#,B,
The '#' and 'b' are symbols attached to certain keys. These symbols are called Accidental in music. Some keys may have double names depending as to whether you use the '#' or 'b'.
For example,
C# is also Db
D# is also Eb
F# is also Gb
G# is also Ab
A# is also Bb
