Iggy Pop - Nightclubbing
Iggy Pop is the stage moniker
of James Newell Osterberg Jr., who has become an absolute legend of rock and roll, and is often called the godfather of Punk. He is most known for his time as the frontman of The Stooges (aka, Iggy and the Stooges), who formed in 1967. They became synonymous with loud, raw, stripped down rock and roll, which would eventually be the blueprint for punk in the '70s. The Stooges broke up and reunited a number of times, but Iggy also had a successful solo career, and has been featured as a guest singer on albums for the lat 5 decades.

This song is from Iggy's
debut solo release, 1977's The Idiot. He collaborated with David Bowie for both the writing and recording sessions. They began incorporating a lot of electronic elements, which would inspire Bowie in his own solo career as he embarked on what his referred to as his 'Berlin Period'. This song has been featured in a number of movies, as it has an incredible, raw, sort of sexy sound. It's clearly slower and less 'loud' than his work with The Stooges, but it still has a dangerous sort of vibe that Pop manages to retain in basically all situations.
