Dick Dale - Taco Wagon
Dick Dale is known as
the King of Surf Guitar, and was responsible for some of the most innovative guitar lines of his era. He was born Richard Anthony Monsour, and began playing guitar in his early childhood. Surf music had a serious boom in the '60s, and Dale was definitely a big part of that. He incorporated a lot of interesting scales from Eastern European/Eastern music, which gave his songs a really unique sound that came to define the genre.

This song was originally
released on the 1964 album Mr. Eliminator, released with his group "The Del Tones". I have always loved this song, he takes some ideas from Mexican music, especially the harmonized melody line, and plays it with his typical surf style. This song always reminds me of hanging out in San Diego on the beach, as I heard a cover of it there being performed by a local act many years ago.
