Just wrote this while chilling at my friend's right now.
It turned out kinda cool, I didn't really like the bass at first but couldn't figure out what I wanted to do... but it grew on me so I decided to find a way to fill the rest of the song. The focus here is DROOOOONE. Each track besides the bass has a droning quality, one is basically just a screaming tone, just noise, but it buzzes with a harmonic kind of effect. The other is the beeps, which continue the whole main portion, but I brought some effects in and out and altered the speed of it, so it changes with the movement of the drums. I thought these tones actually made the bass kinda cool, a lot less goofy than just bass and drums sounded.
The drums are a kit I think came with Ableton,
although I'm not sure... they sound awesome though. Super reverby, distant but heavy... It worked well for this song, keeping things kinda weird. It's a simple enough beat, but the tone of it really changes the quality of the whole track.
There is a little synth chord that builds up
at the 1st mesure, and 5th measure, building into the droning, heavier parts. There is also a waterdroplet synth tone that comes in once every 2 measures, just fills in the background a little more, it's not super audible though.
