Minutemen The Anchor
Definitely one of my all time favorites, the Minutemen are just an amazing band. Super original, and waaaayy ahead of their time, they influenced an entire generation of up and coming musicians. Mike Watt has been killing the basslines forever, and this song, while simple, is one of my favorites of his. Just an arpeggiated maj7 chord, but sounds super cool with the guitar. The lyrics on this one are also great, but really everything D. Boone wrote was genius.
