Todays Record Of The Day comes with a #beersaturday bonus!
Record Of The Day - Earthquake Dub
I ventured out on a wee shopping trip this afternoon in my hometown of Bedford and bought some essentials. First I visited a purveyor of vinyl records and bought a reissue of Earthquake Dub by the The Revolutionaries, a classic 1976 recording made by Ossie Hibbert, and featuring Sly Dunbar on drums.
Here's a couple of tracks from the album to get you onboard...
And here's my copy...

To accompany this I went to my local craft beer shop and purchased some interesting beers for the evening:
Burnt Mill - Green Path (6%)
It's a lovely orange colour, and very citrusy. Even though it's 6%, it makes for a very easy drinking IPA. I could easily drink a couple more of these, I may find this out again...
Unbarred - Breakfast Pastry Stout (6.6%)
Apparently this is made from Rwanda Espresso coffee, you can really taste the coffee coming through. It's indulgent, with maple, cinnamon & vanilla flavours adding to its complexity. If you see it anywhere I'd recommend it for sure!
Boxcar - Singularity Drive (8%)
And lastly, a double IPA to finish. This one's packed with fruity flavour, dense, tropical and delicious! That's all for now, more beer next week...
All things considered, a successful shopping trip. I hope you're all having a great #beersaturday!!!
