Los Chikatilos are not from Spain or Mexico. In fact, this band originates from most Western part of Russia, which is totally separated from Russia by borders. Band was founded in 1989 in Kaliningrad (ex-Koenigsberg). You can see many links to city's heritage in band's music titles. For example, one album was named Guten Organ. Sounds pretty German! Regarding music, Los Chikatilos may appear quite different from time to time, but rhythms are often syncopated, jazz- and reggae-flavoured, tending to breaks, dub, ambient and sometimes drum'n'bass.
