Hello friends and family!

The fabulous foreign finds Friday post is presented to you by Saturday! No, not forever. Just for yesterday.. or today. Due to a glitch in the steemit matrix, the complicating slowness it brought and being an emotional mess I was not able to post anything. I'm good for now, so here we go :)

Have you ever listened to a song, possibly in a foreign language, and did not understand a single word? But you still loved it? Like a lot? Sure you have! As kids we used to bump our heads and moved our feet to songs we obviously did not understand, some of them were super explicit or just plain stupid. Feel a little shame yet? Haha!

While looking for some brand new music, I was stumbling over Антоха МС on Spotify. I won tickets for this year's fusion festival, so I arranged a pre-fusion playlist to get me excited for the event in late June. Does anybody do this as well? I mean prepare playlists for certain occasions? Months and months in advance? I do hope so... Nevertheless, I was curious now, who was this artist? First, I thought it was a girl singing, but then I realised it was a boy singing this Russian folk-like tune.

Антоха МС, born and raised as Anton Kuznetsov in Moscow is a 28-year-old artist mixing his everyday experiences with some great beats and a refreshing style, a nice contrast to the usual harsh and I like to say 'testosterone-rap' I hear from Russia. Coming from a musical family with six siblings a brother played the trombone, and an older sister sang and played the cello. He watched them and decided to follow.

Anton learned to play the trumpet as a kid, an instrument he still uses to create his music. He seems like a nice, kind and laid back guy. A very positive and humble attitude. I watched a couple of interviews with him, lots of music videos and they all sound super uplifting. Антоха МС's videos are creative and different. He is a poet at heart, spreading positive energy along his way. I just love and admire that!

The aspiring artist has been active since 2011, writing, singing and playing all instruments by himself. Anton released four albums until now, his latest published in September 2017 with the unusual name "Tips for the newlyweds." You can listen to the album here.
