Outstanding track by main project of French-born and NY-based artist Dominick Fernow, that man who runs dozen of bands, a label and never sleeps. Being one of most prolific bands in nowadays power electronics, Prurient has it's own distinct style although rarely sounds the same, but this track is step beyond everything Fernow ever did before and after. It sounds more like trance or techno rather than experimental noise, setting very emotional and dark atmosphere by exploiting countless repetition of catchy melodic pattern that somehow reminds the old European folk tunes placed upon perfectly arranged motoric beat. Just beautiful.
