When I first picked up the ukulele, this was one of the first songs I learned to play. I love the passion in Amy Winehouse's voice, and think she is most definitely among the prized artists of our generation that we lost way too early.
This song is very special to me, just because of the dark emotion captured within it. Obviously the breakup being described in the song is a tough one. One has seemingly moved on, while the other one observes this from afar and is experiencing extreme pain as a result of this. I feel these people may have been toxic for each other, but that doesn't make splitting up or saying goodbye any easier. This song tells an epically intense story that I've always loved visiting.
This video was filmed at Phelps Grove Park in Springfield, which is one of my favorite places to just sit and jam some tunes. This was originally released to my Patrons on Patreon, but I'm bringing you the HD video here to Steemit as well. I do hope you enjoy it.
