Steem Music Alliance - Official #MonsterFriend

Being a big advocate for community building among artist and other supporters of independent music I created the community #MonsterThread last summer and it has since then grown to almost 800 members in the Facebook group, 236 followers of the Facebook page and 450 followers of the main Spotify-playlist #MonsterThread - The Monster. Since then I recruited Hive account@producedbytobi to run it with me since keeping track of everything myself became impossible.

The activity has mostly been taking place in the Facebook group and focus has been around the Spotify-playlists. But lately more and more people are joining the new blockchain services like Hive account@musicoin, Hive account@dsound and Hive account@steemit.

Within the #MonsterThread we also try to cross promote other platforms and communities that does work similar to #MonsterThread or is a good resource for independent artists. Therefore I'm really happy to announce Hive account@smacommunity as the latest #MonsterFriend and with a special place on the official homepage.

Thanks to Hive account@seveaux, Hive account@chiefmappster, Hive account@macchiata, Hive account@edje, Hive account@simgirl, Hive account@djlethalskillz and all the others for doing such great work for the musicians community. Together we will build this community even stronger.
