( ATTENTION: The text message is a story on how I started producing, if you happen to don't give a fuck about that, just scroll down and watch the video)
A couple months ago I created my first rap beats with FL Studio. I already had experience with producing music. I started producing music when I was 12 years old. Back then I learned a little bit about the program and I was able to put a track together. Around that age I was more into EDM with inspirations like Avicii, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (I'm from Belguim too) and basically everything spinning records had to offer.
I wasn't very great and I did not know enough about the program because I didn't understand everything at that age and also because english isn't my native language.
Anyway, recently I started producing again and know I know the program better and with more knowledge of the english language I started again with producing.
This time I tried to make the most mainstream rap beats of this moment. I'm talking about the 808's, the sprinkler hi-hats and the 1/2 step preset on Gross Beat and last but not least: Nexus, and only Nexus.
This way I managed to make some beats and they actually don't sound that bad in my opinion. Ofcourse the real producers are going to say this is shit but compared to what I made at the age of 12 this is actually pretty decent.
I am going to say that the beats are a lil' too repetetive and I got to work on the drums and especially the 808's but I would like to share this with you guys and I hope you would give me feedback on them and your overall opinion.
BTW: The logo In the middle of the screen was also made by me
