Let's face it, today's most mainstream music is garbage. songs are circuling around no more than two or three subjects (usually money, sex or fame). There is better music out there and our goal is to add diversity to the scene.
In 'Space Jam', every week we select a number of songs from various genres. These songs are chosen usually from underground artists. Our goal is to bring back real music to life and to make known underground artists that deserve to.
The songs are not in a specific order.
Trip Hop is a musical movement that started in the United Kingdom. A "type of dance music, played on electronic instruments and with a slow beat", according to Longman Dictionary. Trip hop is a subgenre of electronic music that originated in the early 1990s. However, unlike most sub-genres of electronic music, trip-hop has a mostly organic sound that rarely puts emphasis on electronic instruments. The term 'Trip Hop' was the invention of media journalists. And many bands like Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky denied it.
