October's a rather special month for me. Before dressing up for the obligatory night out for free drinks, good company, and existential dread (lol), I'd like to share some great vaporwave music here. For those unfamiliar with vaporwave, here's my write up about it. I love the future funk mutation of vaporwave, but below is a passable short description of the genre.
Vaporwave is a musical micro-genre that emerged in the early 2010s among Internet communities. It is characterized by a nostalgic fascination with retro cultural aesthetics, video games, technology and advertising, and often involves the fusion of modern popular music with lounge, smooth jazz and elevator music.

Blank Banshee - MEGA (Album)
Epic album! I've waited a few years for this. The only way to describe Blank Banshee's sound is: minimalistic breakbeats, powered by sterile soundscapes, Geocities, Windows 98! Maybe if a superconscious computer of the future attempts to make good music, this may be the result! My favourite track in the album is XENOS @ 14:58 of the video above.
