Last night I listened to these two songs, back-to-back, and it made me wonder: does the Tom who is stuck in the office, being harassed by Bob the zombie, potentially represent Tom Cruise?
And then, when I just wrote "Bob the zombie" it reminded me of Rob Zombie, and I wonder if Jonathan Coulton meant to make that reference, as well!
So, I put them together: "Tom Cruise Crazy" and "Re: Your Brains". Hope you like it!
Note that I downloaded two YouTube videos which were made for JoCo's work, which he puts in the Creative Commons so that others can make derivative works from it (like the second video, in which they not only did a quite professionally-done music video for it, they also added sounds, like the off-beat clapping). The first contains a bunch of clips from Tom Cruise movies, and the channel that posted it wrote in the Description that they don't own any of them, and that it's for entertainment purposes only. (Which is a little amusing, as that seems to be the primary purpose of Tom's movies as well...) LOL and the credits for the second also include the name "Bob the Zombie"! :) Perhaps I saw that a decade ago and it was just sitting in my subconscious?
